DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies and procedures.
-Conduct risk assessments and evaluate existing security measures, recommending improvements as needed.
-Plan and oversee security initiatives, including facility upgrades, surveillance and access control.
-Lead, train and motivate a team of security personnel, fostering a culture of professionalism and vigilance.
-Coordinate with the office of the Chief Executive Officer to address security needs and promote a safe workplace environment.
-Oversee day-to-day security operations, including physical security, monitoring and emergency response protocols.
-Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills to ensure preparedness.
-Investigate security breaches and incidents, document findings and recommend corrective actions.
-Perform any other duties that may be assigned by a competent authority.

-Proven knowledge of physical security, surveillance systems and emergency response.
-Proficiency in risk assessment, crisis management and compliance with security regulations.
-Ability to lead and inspire a diverse security team with strong communication and motivation skills.
-Decision making: Confidence in making quick, effective decision with safety as the top priority.
-Excellent communication skills to convey security policies and report incidents.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Strong knowledge of security protocols, investigations and cybersecurity practices. Plus a Police Training Course at Superintendent Level on criminal investigation will be an added advantage.
-Holder of form IV/VI certificate with passes in English, Kiswahili,C, History or form VI with passes in English, Kiswahili or History and who has obtained a certificate training in Law/Security Management/ Criminal Justice or a related field from the recognized institution.
-Relevant working experience of security management with at least 3-5 years in leadership role.
