-Develop and implements the TCO Growth and Sustainability Strategy that optimizes resources and partnerships needs that are key for implementation of WWF Tanzania Country Strategic Plan in alignment with the achievement of overall ROA (Africa Regional Office) strategic goals.
-Manage the donor relationships including bilateral and multilateral government aid agencies (PSP), Ministries Departments and Agencies, Local Government Authorities, Civil Society Organizations, INGOs, Private Sector and WWF Network stakeholders (NOs).
-Develop and coordinate the implementation of the TCO Business Plan for sustaining TCO Growth over the next 10 years.
-Coordinate and articulate innovative solutions for financing the implementation of WWF Tanzania Strategic Plan, country level initiatives with regional perspectives.
-Coordinate with other Country Offices and National Organizations for developing Regional Projects that are relevant to implementation of TCO Action Plan and aligned to WWF Global Goals and 2030 Roadmap.
-Coordinate with Landscape Leaders for identifying opportunities for establishment and signing of Programme Implementation Agreements (PIAs) with donors in order to achieve impactful conservation at Landscape level.
-Lead and coordinate the TCO Shareholder Group for effective engagement with Network Partners.
Required Functional skills
-Proven track record in proposals development and successful fundraising from major development partners, PSPs, Foundations, Private Sector and MEAs.
-Proven track record in successfully managing inter-institutional relations, preferably in the development field. -Professional experience in managing donor funds and inter-institutional relationship management.
-Highly competent in proposal and report writing skills, ability to understand the complex funding strategies of donors and match WWFs programs against these strategies, understanding of the key principles of good project delivery as relevant to fundraising (objective, outcomes, outputs, activities and monitoring indicators)
-Knowledge and experience of the realities of development issues, donor institutions, and the not-for-profit sector.
