Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervising and participating in the drilling, sampling and excavation of the ore body and related data acquisition
Assisting in the assessment and development of satellite deposits
Undertaking and compiling the geotechnical and geological mapping of the pit ad areas of interest as directed
Interacting and partcipating with the Mine and Process Departments, to ensure sustained development and reconciliation of ore body
Liaising with the Production Geologist and Senior Production Geologist regarding Grade control planning and interpretations
Assisting in the compilation and preparation of Geology reports
Performing any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Holder of BSc Geology or related field from recognized institution
Intermediate skills in MS Office software package and or Mine Software Packages
