DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Reports to Director of Finance.
-Interprets and implement financial and accounting regulations, policies and procedures.
-Guides preparation of the company budget in line with guidelines.
-Measures performance against operating plans and accounting standards and keep management informed continously.
-Reviews financial budgets and cash flow projects.
-Facilitates the auditing of ZCL books of accounts by both the internal and external auditors.
-Ensures implementation of internal and external audit recommendations.
-Provides quidance to staff in the finance department.
-Ensures effective implementation of ERP in all company financial transactions.
-Protects ZCL fixed assets through internal control mechanics.
-Remits statutory contributions respective.
-Periodically review expenditure vote codes to check accuracy and compliance with the established rules and accounting principles.
-Ensures bank reconciliation is thoroughly done and should not take longer than a month from the previous one and report the reconciled statements to DOF.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTE
-Good computer skills.
-Able to communicate with proven interpersonal skills and able to work in as a team.
-Accuracy in the critical management skills of transformation leadership, action planning, performance and total quality management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Mater Degree majoring in Finance or Accounts and registered with NBAA as Associate Certified Public Accountant will be an added advantage.
-The candidate for this position must hold a CPA(T)/ACCA/ICMA or equivalent qualifications.
-Must havea minimum of five years working experience in a reputable company, of which two years must be in a Managerial position.
