The Electrical Engineer will support the Site Electrical Technicians for electrical activities. The Electrical Engineer who will be located at MST will be under authority of the Maintenance Inspection Head, one located at Kampala back office under Maintenance Engineer. Electrical Engineer will oversee the electrical maintenance activities of PS1 perimeter fo one base at Kampala and TZ station for one based at MST. According to this perimeter they will manage technicians, service contracts and interfaces with power grid stations or providers.
He/She will oversee managing several service contracts such as UPS, Lightning, HVAC, Vendors maintenance services. He/She is responsible for maintenance and inspection activities of EACOP electrical equipment that are mainly: PV farm, UPS, Air compressors, Nitrogen generator, fire heater, heat exchanger, electric heater, diesel generators (4M watts), HT power distribution system, Hydraulic systems (loading arms, Gangway, accumulator etc), Pump package driven by electronic VFD motor up to 2M Watts.
