The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and supporting the finance department in daily accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
-Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
-Manage payroll records and other internal financial documents.
-Monitor and report on budget performance and highlight variances.
-Provide financial data for cost control and perform financial resources.
-Ensure tax compliance and handle insurance matters.
-Prepare cash budgets, forecasts and manage financial resources.
-Maintain general ledger, fixed assets register and other records.
-Implement audit recommendations and uphold financial regulations.
-Support the Finance Manager with other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management.
-CPA/ACCA certification required.
-Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a reputable organization.
